Job Description

Medicare insurance agency is expanding and looking for a detail-oriented and personable insurance office assistant to support daily operations, post to social media sites, process paperwork, schedule appointments.

Job Overview:

This is a part-time position with hours ranging from 5-15 per week, depending on the season. Perfect position for a student or retired person.

Flexibility:

The position offers flexibility to work remotely on days and hours that suit the candidate, with structured training at the Fitchburg office and set hours during the busy season which runs from October - December.

Key Responsibilities:

Updating CRM with client information and policy numbers, maintaining spreadsheets, sending thank you letters and gift cards, updating monthly newsletters, downloading carrier reports, managing website and social media accounts, creating and publishing weekly social media content, follow up on Google business reviews, and reaching out to businesses for newsletter features.

Skills Required:

Familiar with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, Google Business Suite) and social media experience. This position requires a "self-starter" who can take the job and run with it. During the first few weeks, this person will get familiar with my social media sites and post articles and work on engagement. From there, they will perform different administrative functions and learn how to enter information in my CRM. We can set up a trial run to start.
