Spookah Coordinators Job Summary:
Spookah Actors are responsible for safely dressing up, presenting, or portraying a character.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs. consistently. Physical exertion such as frequent bending, twisting, stretching, stooping, and reaching overhead. Standing and walking for long periods on surfaces such as uneven surfaces and hard flooring. Varying work hours extending up to eighteen (10) hour workdays under some circumstances. Working out of doors in all weather conditions in a wide range of temperatures.
Safety:
Promote and practice safe work practices at all times. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed. Adhere to company, state and federal safety standards and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Report to work at the scheduled time. Get dressed and in makeup in enough time to be ready for the start of the Spookah event daily. Display a positive, cooperative attitude toward coworkers and guests. Portray your character or role at all times. Agree to use no profanity or allow promiscuous content. In the event of an accident, call your supervisor and never discuss the event with the public. Maintain a clean work area. Performs other related duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Display a willingness to learn. Ability to establish priorities, works independently, and proceeds with objectives without supervision. Good communication skills. Display an outgoing, energetic personality
Experience:
High school diploma or GED certificate is desired. Previous experience performing in front of groups is strongly preferred
