Clydesdale Outpost is now casting energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic performers for the 2026 Haunted Hayride, The Flathead Asylum . As a Haunted Hayride Cast Member, you'll become part of an immersive theatrical production where every guest is transported into a terrifying story. Whether you're portraying a sinister doctor, deranged patient, creepy nurse, escaped inmate, or another unforgettable character, you'll help bring one of Montana's premier Halloween attractions to life. No professional acting experience is required. If you have a great attitude, enjoy performing, and aren't afraid to get into character, we'll help you succeed. What You'll Do Bring a haunted character to life through acting, movement, voice, and improvisation. Stay fully in character throughout each performance. Safely scare, surprise, and entertain guests while creating memorable experiences. Work closely with fellow cast members to tell a cohesive story throughout the attraction. Learn scene choreography, timing, and guest interaction techniques. Wear costumes, makeup, masks, or prosthetics as assigned. Help maintain the appearance of your scene and report any safety concerns. Arrive on time, prepared, and performance-ready every event night. Follow all guest safety guidelines and never make physical contact with guests unless directed by management. We're Looking For People Who Are At least 16 years of age Dependable and punctual Positive, coachable, and excited to be part of a team Comfortable performing in costume for extended periods Creative and willing to improvise Able to work outdoors during cool fall evenings Able to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, and move throughout the night Passionate about Halloween, haunted attractions, theater, cosplay, or live entertainment Preferred Qualifications Experience is a bonus, but not required. Acting, theater, improv, dance, or performance experience Haunted house or escape room experience Customer service or public interaction experience Special effects makeup or costume experience Entertainment or live event experience Availability Our 2026 Haunted Hayride season includes: Training & Cast Rehearsals Attendance at scheduled rehearsals prior to opening weekend is expected. Dates will be announced after casting. Event Nights October 15-17, 2026 October 22-24, 2026 Cast members should be available to work most, preferably all six event nights . Shifts generally begin in the late afternoon for costume, makeup, and pre-show preparation and continue through the end of the event each evening. Because every performer plays an important role in the guest experience, reliability and attendance are essential.
