Retail & Wholesale Position Available:

Otto the Ghost•Store Mascot Hicks Nurseries is looking for enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to bring our beloved mascot, Otto the Ghost , to life during our busy fall season! This is a fun, interactive role perfect for someone who enjoys making kids smile and being part of a festive atmosphere.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL DAYS LISTED BELOW

This is a weekend and school holiday position only•required weekends from 9/12 through 11/1 and Columbus Day, and Yom Kippur availability. Shifts are 9:45a to 4:30p.

Responsibilities:

Portray Otto the Ghost in costume during weekend and holiday events Pose for photos with guests, especially families and children Greet and interact warmly with customers throughout the store Represent Hicks Nurseries in a friendly, professional, and family-friendly manner Must be available weekends from 9/12 through 11/1 (Columbus Day Weekend is required) Comfortable wearing a full costume (cape and headpiece) for extended periods Able to stand and walk for long periods in varying weather conditions Comfortable working in loud, busy environments (both indoors and outdoors) Friendly, engaging, and enjoy interacting with kids and families Fast-paced and team-oriented Indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions Can include dusty, muddy, or dirty areas
