Duties Perform choreographed dance routines across various styles including ballet, hip hop, contemporary, jazz, and partnering techniques. Collaborate with choreographers, directors, and fellow performers to develop innovative routines and stage concepts. Engage audiences during live performances through energetic presence and expressive movement. Assist in rehearsals by practicing choreography, refining techniques, and preparing for upcoming shows. Contribute to the creative process by participating in improvisation sessions and musical improvisation composition. Support dance instruction efforts by working with students of different ages and skill levels in workshops or community classes. Demonstrate acting skills to enhance character portrayal during theatrical or narrative-driven performances. Requirements Proven experience in theater or live dance performance with a strong portfolio or demo reel. Proficiency in multiple dance styles such as ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, cheerleading, and partnering techniques. Experience teaching visual arts or performing arts to diverse groups is highly desirable. Ability to engage audiences effectively during live shows through energetic movement and stage presence. Strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with choreographers, fellow performers, and production teams. Knowledge of choreography creation and ability to adapt routines for different performance contexts. Background in acting or musical improvisation enhances performance versatility. Physical stamina to perform energetic routines repeatedly while maintaining precision and artistry.
