Creative Dance Lead — Hip-Hop, House & Dance Fitness Fitobie Cambridge, MA Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Seasonal | Contract | Internship From $50 an hour 9 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Teamwork Dance instruction Research Group fitness classes Teaching Full Job Description Job Summary Fitobie, a new Boston startup in the music, dance, and fitness space, is looking for talented and creative hip-hop / house dance instructors to help run pilot classes, workshops, and research sessions. Classes and workshops will be held near Central Square in Cambridge. This is a contract opportunity to start, with potential to grow into a part-time or full-time role depending on background, fit, and performance. We are especially interested in instructors who enjoy teaching, experimenting with choreography, and helping shape a new dance-fitness experience from the ground up.

Role may include:

• Teaching hip-hop and/or house dance sessions
• Helping run pilot classes and small-group workshops
• Creating or adapting choreography for music-driven fitness
• Giving feedback on class structure, movement flow, music, and participant experience
• Supporting early research around dance, rhythm, fitness, and engagement Ideal candidate:
• Strong background in hip-hop, house, street dance, choreography, or dance instruction
• Comfortable teaching beginners and mixed-level students
• Creative, reliable, energetic, and collaborative
• Interested in fitness, music, wellness, choreography, or startup projects
• Open to contract, internship, part-time, or potential full-time opportunities
• Students are welcome to apply if they have strong dance ability and teaching potential

Compensation & Schedule:

• $50/hour
• Usually minimum 2-hour sessions per arrangement
• Typical availability needed: weekdays and weekends between 3pm-7pm
