Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking passionate and energetic Dance Teachers to inspire and cultivate the next generation of dancers. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help students develop their technical skills, artistic expression, and confidence through movement. Classes start September 14th and run through May/June. We are specifically looking for teachers for the following classes: Saturday mornings 9am-1pm: ballet/tap ages 4-6, Ballet/jazz ages 5-8, beg tween hip hop/jazz ages 10-13. Sunday Mornings 9am-12noon: ballet/tap ages 4-6, Ballet/jazz ages 5-8 and jazz/hip hop ages 7-10 Tuesdays 4-8pm: ballet/jazz ages 5-8, hip hop ages 5-8, Beg Teen ballet ages 11-14, and either able to teach Contemporary ages 11-14 OR Hip Hop ages 14-17 If possible, it would be ideal if the teacher had a car for either the saturday or sunday classes. Lead engaging dance classes that emphasize proper technique, creativity, and performance skills. Manage classroom behavior to create a safe, respectful, and motivating environment for all students. Maintain accurate attendance records, progress reports, and safety protocols during classes. Qualifications Proven experience in teaching dance or performing arts to children and youth. Experience working with children or young students in educational or extracurricular settings. Skills in teaching across multiple styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, or contemporary dance. Acro is a plus, but not required.
