General Purpose:

They will work closely with the other pastors/directors within the church and will serve on the 360 leadership team. They will oversee worship, worship nights, off-site events, and other functions that need worship team support. They will also oversee the technology used for worship. They will equip, encourage, and evaluate volunteers on their team. This position reports directly to the Lead Pastor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Exist as the primary worship leader.

Including but not limited to:

Serve as the Sunday morning worship leader a minimum of twice a month Pick songs in alignment with the Sunday message and vision of the Spiritual Leadership Team When not leading, ensure that the Worship Leader for the week has selected their songs in a timely manner and they are in line with the message for the week Provide rehearsal in combination with that week's worship leader to validate all prepared items of the service and readiness of the worship arts team Communicate with worship team the needs for the service Provide oversight on all aspects of Sunday morning worship services Keep up to date with worship music selections and implement new songs ensuring they are biblically based Work closely with the 360 Team/SLT to make sure worship is representing the core values of the church Be a key leader for the worship ministry, which includes developing, communicating, onboarding the team, and recruiting and developing new team members. Oversee the Scheduling for Worship Arts volunteers Oversee all creative elements of church services and offsite worship events Maintain personal connections and good relationships with the team Work with the Director of Care & Service to maintain good team health Work with the Director of Discipleship to maintain team spiritual growth Oversee quality control of service Oversee the worship leadership team Meet monthly and collaborate on the operation of the team Conduct a minimum of an annual all team meeting Oversee the development of new leaders in worship and tech Oversee the technology team Develop Training programs for the technology team Implement better technology practices into our worship service for both the main worship center as well as other overflow areas. Oversee the effective streaming of services Ensure weekly stream is setup for camera volunteers Load weekly sermon stream on website Load weekly sermon into ChurchTech Oversee weekly service preparations Develop Countdowns, Intro Videos, Bumpers, and any other creative elements as needed Load the weekly sermon slides into PP7 Set PP7 Looks, Themes, and Logos for each sermon series Load new songs and set proper Looks and Arrangement in PP7 Load the weekly playlist into MultiTracks playback app on Journey Tracks computer Work with Worship Leader to blend/mix/change arrangements of songs in playback app to meet their creative expectations

Time Commitment:

Approx. 30 hours a week, starting at $20

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

An aptitude for anticipating the needs of others A strong ability to organize and lead teams of volunteers A comfortability with Planning Center, Multitracks Playback, Pro Presentor, Sound Boards, ATEM, and Online Streaming Software An acute sensibility to holding and appropriately disseminating confidential information A comfortability with setting up and tearing down worship equipment. Superb written and verbal communication skills A growing personal relationship with Christ A willingness to build and maintain strategic partnerships with community members and organizations to address and meet the needs of individuals that our church cannot Leadership qualities as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:7 in the Bible A willingness and desire to uphold our church's statement of belief and a commitment to the mission of the church

Pay:

$20.00 per hour
