Job Description

Casting "Parents Substitute," a comedy/drama thesis film about an international college student who, after getting into serious trouble at school, hires two strangers to pose as his parents for a disciplinary meeting. The story explores family pressure, shame, and the tendency to hide bad news from the people closest to us, while maintaining an awkward and absurd sense of humor. The completed short film will be screened as a Chapman University/Dodge College thesis production and may also be submitted to film festivals and used for portfolio purposes.
