Temp Choral Accompanist

Job Description

We are hiring a collaborative pianist for the Brandeis Chamber Singers and University Chorus and vocal program. Rehearsals are on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11:00- 2:05 weekly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Accompany weekly rehearsal. Provide accurate musical support for note learning. Prepare practice part files. Collaborate closely with the conductor in repertoire preparation,. Participate in dress rehearsals, concerts, juries and recitals. The hourly pay rate for the position is $50 KEY
QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced piano proficiency and strong collaborative accompanying experience. Demonstrated excellence in open score reading is required. Exceptional sight-reading skills Strong musicianship, reliability and rehearsal awareness Desire to mentor undergraduates and help build musical community.
