Job Summary The Way Church is seeking a passionate, gifted, and dependable Praise & Worship Leader to help lead our congregation in Christ-centered, Spirit-filled worship. We are looking for someone who loves Jesus, has a heart for ministry, and can confidently lead and engage a congregation in worship. This is a part-time position of approximately 6-8 hours per week , primarily involving Sunday worship and preparation/rehearsal during the week. Responsibilities Lead congregational worship during Sunday services and occasional special services or events. Select biblically sound, Christ-centered worship songs in coordination with church leadership. Prepare for and lead weekly worship rehearsals. Work closely with musicians, vocalists, pastoral leadership, and the AV team. Help develop a unified, prepared, and spiritually focused worship team. Communicate songs, keys, arrangements, and other necessary information to the team in advance. Create a worship environment that encourages the congregation to participate rather than simply observe. Play keyboard/piano when needed, if applicable. Qualifications A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for worship and ministry. Previous experience leading praise and worship in a church setting. Strong vocal ability and confidence leading a congregation. Ability to work well with musicians, vocalists, church leadership, and volunteers. Dependable, prepared, teachable, and able to communicate effectively. Ability to play keyboard/piano is highly desirable , but not required. Must be available for Sunday services and scheduled rehearsals.

Compensation:

Negotiable, based on experience, qualifications, and musical ability.
