We cover Lifestyle & Beauty, Mind-Body-Soul, Home & Planet, and Community & Connections , bringing together trusted local businesses and wellness professionals with an audience interested in living well. We are building more than a magazine. The brand is part of a growing wellness platform that includes the Litchfield Wellness Festival, wellness events and retreats, a local wellness directory, and future digital and community initiatives. We are looking for ambitious, personable sales professionals who want to be part of building something from the ground up.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking Account Executives, Advertising Sales to introduce the magazine to local businesses and develop advertising partnerships across Litchfield County. This is a commission-only, uncapped opportunity designed for someone who is entrepreneurial, self-motivated and comfortable creating their own pipeline. You will identify prospective advertisers, build relationships with business owners and decision-makers, present advertising opportunities, close sales and develop ongoing client relationships. This is not a traditional 9-to-5 sales position. You control your schedule, your activity and—most importantly—your earning potential. The ideal candidate enjoys meeting people, believes in the wellness industry and is excited by the opportunity to turn relationships into revenue.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Identify and prospect potential advertisers throughout Litchfield County and surrounding communities Build relationships with local business owners, entrepreneurs, practitioners and marketing decision-makers Introduce businesses to advertising and partnership opportunities with Litchfield County Wellness Magazine Conduct outreach by phone, email, social media and in-person meetings Schedule and conduct sales meetings and presentations Understand each prospective client's business, goals and target audience Recommend appropriate advertising opportunities and packages Develop creative ideas for how businesses can reach our audience Follow up consistently and professionally with prospects Negotiate and close advertising agreements Develop repeat and long-term advertising relationships Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects and follow-ups Attend select local events and networking opportunities to develop relationships and generate leads Work collaboratively with the magazine team to ensure a strong experience for advertisers

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for salespeople, not necessarily magazine salespeople.

A natural relationship builder Confident, personable and persuasive Highly self-motivated and comfortable working independently Entrepreneurial and driven by results Comfortable initiating conversations with people they don't know Persistent without being pushy Organized and disciplined about follow-up Comfortable making cold calls, sending emails and asking for the sale Able to communicate the value of an advertising opportunity clearly Curious about businesses and genuinely interested in helping them grow Well-connected in Litchfield County or capable of quickly developing a strong local network Comfortable using email, social media and basic digital tools Advertising, media, publishing, marketing, hospitality, real estate, luxury or wellness sales experience is a plus—but not required. What matters most is your drive, confidence, relationship-building ability and willingness to prospect.

This is an opportunity to join the sales team at the beginning of an ambitious new media and wellness venture. You won't simply be handed an established territory. You'll help build it.

You understand that the best salespeople don't just sell—they listen, understand and create value.

COMPENSATION

Commission Only | Uncapped There is no salary or earnings cap . Compensation is directly tied to advertising sales. A successful Account Executive has the opportunity to build a substantial recurring book of advertising business as the magazine grows. The more you sell, the more you earn. Detailed commission structure will be provided during the interview process.
