City Wide Facility Solutions | St. Louis, MO $105,000
155,000+ Earning Potential City Wide Facility Solutions of St.
Louis, recognized as a Best Places to Work STL 2025, is looking for an experienced B2B Sales Executive to drive new business growth throughout the St. Louis market. This is a true new-business development role for a competitive sales professional who enjoys prospecting, opening doors, building relationships, and closing business. You will prospect. Meet with decision-makers. Identify problems. Build solutions. Present proposals. Negotiate agreements. Close business. Then our operations and account-management teams take over the ongoing client relationship, and you go find the next opportunity. You sell. We retain. If you love the hunt but don't want your success to eventually turn you into an account manager, this could be a great fit. The Opportunity Our Sales Executives own the new-business sales process from initial prospecting through signed agreement. You'll have the autonomy to manage your territory, pipeline, and daily sales activity. We provide the training, tools, support, and resources—but we expect our Sales Executives to own their results. That means being organized, prepared, responsive, persistent, and comfortable operating with urgency. You should be equally comfortable making prospecting calls in the morning, walking into businesses during the day, and presenting to an executive decision-maker that afternoon. What You'll Do
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified B2B opportunities
Prospect through phone, email, networking, referrals, field activity, and face-to-face outreach
Identify and engage business owners, executives, facility leaders, property managers, and other decision-makers
Secure and conduct discovery meetings and facility walkthroughs
Identify operational challenges and develop customized facility-service solutions
Prepare and present professional proposals
Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle
Negotiate pricing, scope, terms, and service agreements
Drive contracts through execution
Maintain an accurate and disciplined CRM pipeline
Consistently execute professional follow-up
Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives
Successfully transition new accounts to our operations and client-retention teams
Get back out and win the next one Who Thrives Here Hunters.
You genuinely enjoy pursuing new business and creating opportunities rather than waiting for leads to arrive. Professionals. You know how to communicate with executives, prepare for meetings, ask good questions, and represent yourself and the company well. Organized people. Your CRM is current. Your calendar is controlled. Your follow-ups happen. You know where every opportunity stands and what needs to happen next. Self-starters. You want expectations, resources, coaching, and accountability—not someone managing your calendar for you. Competitors. You like goals, scoreboards, winning business, and being rewarded for your performance. Persistent people. You understand that good B2B opportunities take time and know how to stay professionally persistent without becoming a nuisance. Closers. You are comfortable asking questions, presenting recommendations, handling objections, negotiating, and ultimately asking for the business. What We're Looking For
2+ years of successful B2B sales, outside sales, or business-development experience
Demonstrated ability to generate your own opportunities through outbound prospecting
Experience managing a professional B2B sales cycle from prospecting through close
Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
Exceptional organization and follow-through
Professional written and verbal communication
Ability to independently manage a territory and pipeline
Experience working within a CRM
Strong business judgment and problem-solving skills
Competitive, results-driven mentality Facility-services experience is helpful, but it is not required.
We can teach our industry. We're looking for people who already know how to sell. This Is Not Account Management At many companies, successful salespeople eventually become victims of their own success. The more accounts they sell, the more accounts they have to manage—and the less time they have to sell. City Wide is structured differently. We have dedicated team members responsible for onboarding, client retention, service management, and the ongoing client relationship. Once you've successfully transitioned a new account, your primary responsibility remains new business development. You keep hunting.
