Role Summary:
This entry-level sales role supports both domestic and international military clients. The ideal candidate will manage sales pipelines, build long-term relationships, and respond to the evolving needs of aerospace and defense markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service by upholding IPT's high standards of performance and quality. Build, manage, and grow relationships with clients through ongoing support, guidance, and expertise. Research and identify new business opportunities, recommending strategies for growth and service improvement. Increase sales and profitability by staying informed about market conditions, competitors, and pricing strategies. Manage the full sales cycle, from securing new contracts to overseeing their successful delivery. Develop creative solutions to address project challenges and ensure customer satisfaction. Prepare detailed reports and analyses for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring data-driven decisions.
Required Qualifications:
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Dayton, OH area. This is not a remote position. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in sales or business development, preferably in a B2B or technical sales environment. Prior experience selling to, purchasing for, or supporting U.S. Government agencies and contracts, particularly the Department of Defense (DoD) or Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Familiarity with DIBBS, SAM.gov, FAR/DFARS requirements, NSNs, CAGE codes, and government contracting terminology.
