Position Overview Poljan Insurance Company is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our Washington, MI office. This position is responsible for servicing personal lines accounts from start to finish, including marketing, endorsements, claims, renewals, and new business. This is a fully on-site role (Monday-Friday) where your expertise will directly impact our clients' satisfaction and our agency's continued growth. Key Responsibilities Manage a personal lines book of business, including Auto, Home, Umbrella, and Recreational Lines.
Provide full-service account management:
quoting, policy issuance, endorsements, billing, claims support, and renewal processing. Market and remarket accounts to ensure competitive coverage with partner carriers. Build strong client relationships by providing prompt, accurate, and professional service. Collaborate with carriers and internal team members to deliver excellent client outcomes. Maintain compliance with Poljan Insurance's standards, workflows, and procedures. Required Qualifications AMS360 experience. Experience working directly with carriers such as Pioneer, State Mutual, Citizens, AAA, Progressive, Safeco, and Hastings Mutual. 2+ years of personal lines account management or customer service in an independent agency setting. Michigan P&C License. Solid knowledge of personal lines products and underwriting guidelines. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
