Dizario Search is working with a client in the Heavy Equipment/Industrial Service & Repair industry who is seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a hands-on background in heavy equipment mechanics or hydraulics, paired with strong relationship-building skills. In this position, you will partner with your manager to visit customers and support their mobile service and repair needs across asphalt, concrete, construction, and related industries.
Responsibilities:
Manage and grow a defined territory of customers within the hydraulics, fluid power, and heavy equipment service markets Conduct regular onsite visits to customers in industries such as construction, asphalt, concrete, and related sectors Assess customer needs related to mobile hydraulic service, repair, and equipment downtime solutions Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts within the assigned territory Work closely with internal service and technical teams to ensure accurate quoting, scheduling, and service delivery Provide consultative solutions based on mechanical and hydraulic system knowledge Track and report sales activity, pipeline, and territory performance Represent the company at customer sites with a professional, solutions-focused approach
Qualification:
Hands-on experience with heavy equipment mechanics, hydraulics, and equipment repair/service Background as a heavy equipment mechanic or technician with strong mechanical aptitude Outgoing, relationship-oriented personality with a willingness to learn and grow in a sales environment Prior outside sales experience is a plus, but not required; openness to transitioning into a sales-focused role is essential
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
