Job Description

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join the Integrated AV Team in Vandalia, OH . The Account Manager is responsible for managing and supporting the long tail of small integrators and dealers. Solely focused on Tier 4/5 and regional distributor accounts (AV & IT branch locations), this team is oriented and able to work cross-functionally to maximize account revenues, will also utilize training and growth opportunities offered through Legrand to maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the Legrand AV Division products and services, current trends within the commercial audio visual industry, and job specific skill development.

Minimum Education/Experience Required:

Bachelor's Degree in sales, marketing, communications, business or technical field or equivalent experience. 1-3 years of successful sales, account management, customer service and or industry related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

An understanding of the commercial AV industry and Legrand AV integration partners. Proficient in the use of Salesforce.com and

SAP. 1-2

years in an inside sales or account management role with an AV/IT technology channel related business.

▪ Outstanding listening, comprehension and clear, concise and grammatically sound oral and written communication skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage several projects at one time while providing high attention to details and excellent follow-through skills.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required (for the majority of the working day) to sit and make coordinated movements of the fingers for data entry on a keyboard. Requires in office presence with a minimum of 3 days per week. General office environment. Long-distance or air travel as needed - not to exceed 10% travel. Develop and maintain relationships within assigned accounts. Identify and convert high potential new integrators in Tier 4/5. Find opportunities to drive more volume and sell new products at assigned accounts. Delivers value proposition messaging as needed. Manages pipeline and keeps SFDC updated. Ability to educate internal and external customers about new and existing products. Actively pursue new business to penetrate and grow business; confer with potential customers regarding product needs and advise customers on types of products to purchase. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in CRM tool. Provide reporting to sales and product management, including Voice of Customer (VOC). Build and strengthen relationships with key players / decision makers. Effectively work and collaborate with fellow Legrand associates. Drive annual initiatives for assigned product sales targets. Upskill technical baseline product and solution knowledge. Collaborate internally with AE to hand off developed accounts with greater potential.
