What You Will Do At Aptar Pharma:

We have an exciting new opportunity as an Associate Account Manager for Gateway Analytical to developing and maintaining our long-term relationships with your assigned customers in the Eastern North American and Canadian regions while learning about the pharma/biotech industry and Gateway's laboratory testing services business. Your primary responsibilities are to support our North American Account Managers in performing business development, sales, and marketing-supporting activities, including supporting our international business and customers. This role is a full-time position.

What Aptar Pharma Is Looking For:

Manage and grow new and existing customer accounts in North American territories and international markets through regular meetings, conference calls, and outreach campaigns.

Secure and nurture long-term relationships with customers in all designated territories.

Engage with Account Managers and executives to solve complex problems involving technical, commercial, quality, and regulatory issues.

Prepare and monitor monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales pipeline and other budget assumptions for the business.

Propose, establish, and create quotations and other contractual frameworks for new and existing customers.

Actively participate with Account Managers in preparing, discussing, and negotiating quotations and other business items related to the business.

Identify and qualify new opportunities within the customers' pipelines or portfolios.

Organize and/or participate in trade shows or conferences.

Support our Account Managers for domestic and international sales and business travel, which includes on-site customer meetings, networking events, trade shows, and conferences.

Maintain accurate master data; manage key sales data and reporting systems.

Remain current on applicable industry and pharmaceutical industry news and product developments.

Close sales by building rapport with potential customers, explaining products and services, overcoming objections, and preparing contracts.

Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing them to other services that may fit their needs. What you will bring to the journey:

Education:

BS in the Natural or Physical Sciences, related scientific field, or Business Degree with strong technical interests

Experience:

3+ years of Outside Sales / In-the-field experience

Pharmaceutical services industry experience is preferred, and medical device experience is acceptable

Skills:

Strong computer skills utilizing CRM and MS Office

Proven effective communication skills

Develop and deliver presentations and lead complex technical and business discussions internally and externally, influencing all stakeholders

Detail-oriented and rigorous

Motivation for sales

Independent and self-motivated

Strategic thinker with good analytical skills

Team player and proven ability to work in a multicultural environment

Efficient time management

Innovative benefits plan which includes: 401k plan with Company matching benefit, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life, disability and more Compensation and Base Annual Pay In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is USD $53,000 to USD $76,000 annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
