San Marcos, TX / Central Texas About AdvanceTrac Equipment AdvanceTrac Equipment is a growing, independent heavy equipment rental company based in San Marcos, serving contractors across Texas. We specialize in heavy earthmoving equipment rentals and sales, along with service and fleet support. Because we're independent, we're not tied to a single manufacturer or product line.
Our focus is simple:
understand what the customer needs, find the right solution, and follow through. The Opportunity We're looking for a motivated Account Manager to help grow our customer base throughout Central Texas. This is more than a transactional sales role. Our Account Managers own the customer relationship from the first conversation through delivery, support, and follow-up. You'll spend time in the field meeting contractors, visiting jobsites, developing new relationships, growing existing accounts, and identifying opportunities for AdvanceTrac to help. What You'll Do Develop new business for heavy equipment rentals and sales Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and jobsite leaders Identify upcoming projects and equipment needs Prepare quotes and consistently follow up on open opportunities Visit jobsites and stay connected with active customers Track active rentals, extensions, off-rents, and additional equipment opportunities Work closely with operations, service, and logistics to make sure customer commitments are met Stay involved when problems arise and help coordinate solutions Maintain accurate customer and sales activity within company systems What We're Looking For Experience in equipment rentals, equipment sales, construction, or a related industry preferred Knowledge of the Central Texas construction market is a strong plus Strong relationship-building and communication skills Self-motivated and comfortable managing a territory independently Strong sense of urgency with excellent follow-up and follow-through Comfortable prospecting, visiting jobsites, and developing relationships face-to-face Organized and able to manage multiple customers and opportunities at once Working knowledge of heavy construction equipment preferred Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record Compensation This role is designed for someone who wants the opportunity to directly influence their income through performance.
