Responsible for managing and growing business with key ingredient and national accounts. Responsible for achieving assigned volume and profit goals, growing new product placements, and prudently defending our current business. Act as the key interface between the customer and the JDF organization. Lead and implement assigned strategies; strategies must incorporate the resources and input from all pertinent JDF departments (Product Development/Research Development, Manufacturing, Culinary, Scheduling, Finance, Marketing, Purchasing, Traffic, etc.).
ESSENTIAL
DUTIES and
RESPONSIBILITIES
An essential job duty of this position is regularly reporting to work on time and being able to perform the essential duties of the position. % Of Total Time Achieve assigned volume and profit goals and grow new product placements. Responsible for initiating new sales opportunities with all potential ingredient and national accounts. Successfully lead cross functional teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs as well all pertinent JDF departments. Actively participates in the product development process for products requiring special formulas or special packaging to develop acceptable products for ingredient and national accounts. Develops and presents price quotes for regular and special projects that benefit the customer and the Jones organization. Act as the point of contact for key ingredient and national account customers and the Jones Organization. Effectively serve as a strategic business advisor and consultant to the customer by developing and strengthening relationships across the entire customer organization while supporting Jones initiatives. Effectively communicate strategy and direction of the customer to the JDF Organization in order to ensure alignment and trust with all stakeholders. Make recommendations concerning improvements to policies and procedures or any other matters relative to enhancing the effectiveness of the department or Company. Up to 25% travel with some overnight stays. Accept special projects and complete them promptly. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience or Training:
10 years of Sales and experience in the food industry including managing national accounts. Must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Must be a highly organized and self-motivated individual with strong account management and relationship-building skills.
Technology/Equipment :
Strong computer skills, specifically with Excel and PowerPoint.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience or Training:
Culinary experience a plus but not required.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The majority of work duties are conducted in an office and manufacturing environment. There may be exposure to production areas requiring the use of PPE, uniform or protective clothing, and safety equipment.
