Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator and Marketing Liaison to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage our social media presence and while supporting our cohesive marketing strategy institude-wide. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, creative flair, and have experience in social media marketing and brand promotion. This position will work closely with our Business Development Manager. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to increase engagement and brand visibility. Create compelling content including graphics, videos, and written posts. Track brand mentions, industry trends, and customer feedback for insights that inform marketing campaigns. Coordinate with other members of the marketing team including website designer, print media designer and Business Development Manager. Corporate account liaison, including building corporate relationships Comanagement support, including building relationships with local optometrists and supporting continuing education events Outside events Qualifications Proven experience in social media marketing with a strong understanding of social media management tools. Knowledge of algorithmic principles, web analytics, keyword/hashtag research, and digital/social media marketing strategies. Ability to create engaging content tailored to diverse audiences while maintaining brand voice across platforms. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent proofreading skills with keen attention to detail Degree in marketing or similar focus is a plus

Schedule:

Monday- Friday office hours, occasional evenings and/or weekends as needed

Pay:

$28.00 - $30.00 per hour
