POSITION OVERVIEW
The Junior Listing Designer | Marketing Coordinator will support the preparation and marketing of residential properties from initial walkthrough through market launch. This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong interest in real estate, residential design, marketing, and social media . Working closely with the Lead Listing Designer and the team, this person will help coordinate renovation and listing-preparation projects, assist with design selections, manage project details and timelines, support marketing listings, and contribute to Outpost's social media presence. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, proactive, and comfortable balancing office-based work with being in the field. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESListing Design & Project Coordination Assist the Lead Listing Designer with renovation and listing-preparation projects. Sourcing and selecting paint colors, tile, flooring, countertops, lighting, plumbing fixtures, hardware, appliances, and other finishes. Help develop and maintain project schedules, task lists, budgets, and project documentation. Coordinate contractors, deliveries, staging, vendors, and other project activities. Help ensure each property is photo-ready and meets Outpost's standards for market launch. Listing & Agent Marketing Support the Outpost agent team with day-to-day marketing needs. Assist with edits and updates to the company website. Build and launch property websites for new listings. Coordinate listing launches across marketing platforms. Support newsletter creation and distribution to agent mailing lists. Help coordinate marketing timelines around photography, launch dates, open houses, and other listing milestones. Social Media & Content Help manage and maintain the Outpost social media calendar. Create Instagram content for stories, reels, carousels, and other social content featuring listings, design projects, local lifestyle, and team activities. Stay current on social media trends, formats, and best practices.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, creative, and resourceful , with a genuine interest in residential design, real estate, marketing, and social media. A person with the right skill set is more important than previous experience and we are open to training an entry-level candidate with a proven passion for design and real estate. The right person will have a strong eye for design, an understanding of what makes compelling marketing, and the ability to stay organized while managing many moving pieces. Experience & Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail. Previous experience in social media management, content creation, marketing, or digital communications is preferred but not required. Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is a plus. A background or education in interior design, architecture, construction, real estate, project management, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required. Must be comfortable visiting construction sites, picking up materials, meeting vendors, and traveling between properties. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
