About Us Rabbit's Foot Art & Craft is a creative, welcoming art & craft studio in Menlo Park where kids and families come together to celebrate, create, and have fun. We host birthday parties, group events, team bonding, walk-in craft sessions, and workshops in a joyful, hands-on environment. We're looking for energetic, outgoing, and dependable Studio Assistant / Party Hosts who love working with kids and helping create memorable experiences. Is This You? The Role As a Party & Event Host, you'll help run birthday parties and group events from start to finish. You'll guide guests through simple art & craft projects (training provided), support event flow, and help keep the studio organized and welcoming. This position is perfect for artists, educators, college students . Tips are often generous during parties and events. Responsibilities Host kids' birthday parties and group events Guide participants through planned art & craft activities Help with event setup, cleanup, and supplies Create a fun, safe, and positive environment for all guests Assist walk-in customers during sessions when needed Communicate clearly and professionally with kids, parents, and teammates Ensure studio spaces and materials are clean and organized Support daily studio operations during events What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable working with children Art or craft background is a plus but not required Experience with kids' events, birthday parties, camps, classrooms, or childcare School substitute teacher is a big plus Able to multitask in a lively, sometimes busy environment Reliable, punctual, and responsible Comfortable standing, bending, lifting supplies (up to ~30 lbs)

Schedule & Availability Weekdays:

Flexible, event-based shifts (you work when events are scheduled)

Weekends:
