Position Summary The Events & Marketing Coordinator is the face of both Coopers LLP and Bicycle Law, representing the firm at events across both brands, external and internal alike. This role's time, both in and out of the office, will primarily be centered around the Bicycle Law brand, whether that's setting up and staffing our sponsor booth at cycling events or genuinely connecting with riders and the broader community in an outdoor, hands-on setting. Whatever the event, this role calls for someone personable, energetic, and comfortable building relationships face-to-face, with a collaborative mindset and a drive to keep improving how we show up. The below is not an exhaustive list, but provides an expectation of the likely day-to-day responsibilities. The Events & Marketing Coordinator should be prepared to work autonomously and respond as required, working across teams and departments to ensure a high level of client and firm service is always maintained. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Bicycle Law Events & Brand Ambassadorship Serve as an active, on-site point of contact for Bicycle Law at races, group rides, sponsorship activations, and community gatherings, representing the brand with consistency, authenticity, and professionalism. Welcome and build relationships with riders, partners, and vendors, acting as a trusted, friendly point of contact on-site. Manage physical setup, staffing, and breakdown of event infrastructure at outdoor cycling events (tents, tables, signage, AV equipment), including load-in and load-out of gear and merchandise. Manage event calendars and timelines, flagging conflicts or bottlenecks as they arise. Manage merchandise ordering and follow-up with vendors and suppliers, tracking inventory and flagging re-orders Manage event budgets and track expenses against approved spend. Community Outreach & Marketing Coordination Build and maintain relationships within the community, including visiting local bike shops and partners on a regular basis to drop off merchandise, newsletters, and promotional materials. In partnership with our social media agency, help promote upcoming Bicycle Law events on social media and share recaps through photos and video captured on-site. Assist with content quality control (QC) by reviewing marketing materials for accuracy, formatting, clarity, and brand consistency prior to distribution. Coopers LLP Events Support Support the Senior Marketing Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of end-to-end logistics for firm events, including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, catering, AV, and invitations/RSVPs. Coordinate with attorneys and partners on event goals, guest lists, and messaging as needed. Conduct post-event follow-up, including thank-you communications, vendor payments, feedback collection, and budget reconciliation. Additional Responsibilities Perform clerical, administrative, and special projects assigned by the Senior Marketing Manager. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Minimum 2 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, experiential marketing, brand ambassador work, or another client- or community-facing role. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including clients, sponsors, and community members. Comfortable serving as the face of the brand in outdoor, high-energy environments, including at cycling and community events. Excellent command of English; strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in Spanish is a plus. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products is essential. Familiarity with social media platforms, email tools, and Canva is a plus. Cycling experience a plus, but not required. College degree is a plus, but not required. Required Skills & Education Ability to work autonomously and be a proactive self-starter with close attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously. Ability to work under tight deadlines and multi-task across several departments in a fast-paced office environment. Be able to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with the firm's policies, procedures, and local regulations. Must be flexible and able to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities, including evening and weekend events as needed. A positive, can-do attitude. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and 1-2 weekends a month.     • San Francisco, CA Ability to commute/relocate: While this position offers the flexibility of working remotely within the greater San Francisco Bay area, the ability to commute to work at the San Francisco office will be required on a consistent basis.
