$38,000•45,000 base, plus commission | OTE $55,000•70,000+ The role Billboard Connection is looking for someone who can own a sales pipeline from first call to close, and who's just as comfortable jumping in to keep a deal moving behind the scenes. You won't be doing this alone — but you also won't need someone standing over your shoulder telling you what's next. All client contact happens by Zoom and phone — no windshield time, no in-person pitch meetings. That means how fast and how clearly you follow up matters more than how polished you look in a room. If you're the kind of person who replies quickly, listens before you talk, and doesn't let things sit, this role was built around that. About Billboard Connection Since 1997, Billboard Connection has helped companies and agencies of every size find, negotiate, and secure premium out-of-home billboard locations across the U.S. — published and unpublished. We know this market cold, and our clients count on us to move. What you'll do Sales (the majority of the role) Take leads from first contact through close — by phone and Zoom, start to finish Run qualifying calls that get to the real need quickly Present and negotiate proposals over video, not in person Build real relationships with clients — the kind that lead to repeat business, not just a signed contract Stay on top of your own pipeline and follow up before anyone has to ask you to Media buying & coordination (the rest of it) Research, negotiate, and secure billboard placements with vendors and partners Track production timelines and catch issues early, before they become client problems Monitor call quality from our answering service and flag what needs improving Move between tasks easily — this role covers real range, and that's by design, not overflow What you bring 1+ year of sales experience — B2B preferred, but a strong track record in any direct sales environment will get a look Someone who can work independently, but genuinely wants to stay connected to a team, not just check in when required Easy to work with — low-drama, cooperative — but not afraid to say the direct thing when it needs saying Comfortable with a pace that moves. Priorities shift, deals move fast, and you'd rather adjust and keep going than get thrown off Careful and detail-oriented without needing everything perfect before you move — you catch what matters and keep momentum Enjoys building things and working inside a process — this isn't a role for someone who needs to reinvent the wheel, or one who can't function without a script Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook; comfortable in Excel Where this can go This role is built for what the business needs today.
