We are proud to announce that we are seeking to fill a position as part of our team in the precious metals recycling industry. We have an immediate opening for a full time Route Buyer/ Field representative at our Joliet, IL location. Accurate Converter offers weekends and holidays off with health benefits and 401k offered. All candidates must successfully complete pre-employment testing requirements. No experience necessary. Job duties will be to service and maintain accounts; communicate and coordinate purchases with auto salvage and metal recycling managers, owners, core buyers and brokers; visit customers on a regular basis; update accounts into CRM; prospect, establish and develop new customers; manage and secure daily inventory purchased; and adhere to control process for inventory accuracy. Moderate physical labor and some regional travel will be required.

Requirements:

minimum of high school diploma or GED is required; must be able to safely lift 50lbs; minimum age 21 years; clean driving record with valid driver's license; solid communication and customer service skills; prior metal experience not required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Automotive Mechanical skills and understanding are appreciated but not required.
