JOB COMPONENTS//PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and distribute print and digital materials (flyers, newsletter, etc.) Retouch and manipulate images Use graphic design software and work with a wide variety of media Assemble presentation materials for CCL staff as needed Manage social media sites to share information about CCL programming Ensure proactive planning, communication and evaluation of Heritage events Participate in planning committee meetings (draft agendas, take notes) Serves on CCL planning committees, in collaboration with The Village and TDUS Provides 7-8 hours a week of in-person office hours Performs other duties as requested, delegated, or assigned
BASIC COMPETENCIES
(Required knowledge, skills, abilities) Experience with Canva, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator Graphic design major/minor preferred or design portfolio Experience managing social media sites (Instagram, Facebook, Suitable) Experience with event planning and coordination Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment and still meet deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and follow- up skills Dynamic self-starter who takes initiative, is highly reliable and dependable Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills and proficient use of Microsoft office programs such as Word, Excel and Teams
