www.rothliving.com The Trade Marketing Representative role is responsible for developing trade business, managing relationships, and actively calling on the trade market, including kitchen designers, interior designers, architects, builders, and remodelers. This role has a direct impact on business growth, as these trade partners are highly influential in specifying our brands to their clients. Kitchen designers are increasingly making product decisions, and strong partnerships will drive the continued placement of Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove products in customers' homes. Specific Responsibilities Trade Accounts Establish new and maintain existing relationships with our customers in the trade industry (Builders, Architects, Designers). Become actively involved in trade associations that align with our company goals by attending and/or hosting events. Evening and weekend hours can be expected. Find networking opportunities through strategic partnerships. Develop and execute a training plan for each product line to keep trade educated and encouraged to specify our brands. Visiting design and architect firms providing education for specifiers on our products. Promote the regional showroom as a selling tool for the trade and their clients. Implement sales and marketing initiatives given by the corporate office. Builder Accounts Build relationships with custom home builders, general contractors, and developers. Working closely with our Sales Team to ensure all new accounts are taken care of to maintain a high working relationship. Drive and support the development of the dealer to builder relationship through regular interactions. Monthly review of builder sales numbers, trends, and orders with an early emphasis established accounts. Prospect new projects by reviewing building permit requests and canvass territory for future development. Attending vendor shows and social events involving builder trade. Seeking out influential people in the industry to help market our products. Planning and hosting builder-focused events at our local Roth Living Showroom. Support and promote corporate builder programs. Leadership and Professional Management Expected to become an expert in product knowledge and provide the highest level of support by providing education on features, benefits, specification practices, competitive offerings and post-sale use and care information. Work closely with Marketing and Sales Teams to provide support for events and promotions throughout the year. Public speaking and hosting of trade groups for factory training, trade shows, and promotional events. Skills and Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM experience. Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Presentation skills - public speaking and trade show exhibition. College Degree. Self-starter, 70% of time is field work. Comfortable traveling via car and plane. Design, appliance or home building industry experience preferred.
