Job Description
Seeking a dependable, organized, hands-on in-person assistant to support a growing home-based creative business. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with their hands, and helping behind the scenes to keep projects moving smoothly. Many tasks are repetitive and detail-oriented, making this a great fit for someone who enjoys following consistent processes and takes pride in doing things well. Part-time with flexible hours. Hours may vary based on classes, events, and business needs. Responsibilities Product Preparation & Studio Support Prepare products for catalog listings by arranging small items and operating simple equipment Steam or iron fabric items as needed Organize inventory, supplies, and materials Clean and maintain studio workspaces Assist with a variety of hands-on production tasks Art Classes & Events Set up and clean up for children's and adult art classes Prepare craft supplies and project materials Assist instructors during classes and workshops Support seasonal events and creative projects Marketing & Business Support Assist with social media posting and organizing content Prepare materials for marketing and promotional events General Support Light administrative tasks Help prioritize projects and keep daily operations running smoothly Work comfortably around friendly dogs and cats Qualifications Organized and detail-oriented Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy Enjoys repetitive, hands-on work Comfortable following step-by-step processes Able to work independently and take initiative Positive attitude and willingness to learn Comfortable standing for periods of time and handling small objects Comfortable steaming or ironing fabric items when needed Enjoys working with children, adults, and animals Reliable transportation Ideal Candidate This position is perfect for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks in a creative environment.
