Full Job Description Location & Travel:
This is a hybrid, field-based position based in White Plains, NY. Candidates may reside in New York City or Westchester County, provided they can reliably attend in-person meetings, client visits, and business events throughout New York City, Westchester County, and Northern New Jersey as required.

Hispano Media Inc. serves Hispanic communities across New York City, Westchester County, and Northern New Jersey through its three publications: New York Hispano, Westchester Hispano, and New Jersey Hispano. Our Spanish-language newspapers and bilingual digital platforms connect businesses, institutions, and organizations with Hispanic and Latino audiences across these communities.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking two bilingual advertising sales professionals with proven media sales experience and knowledge of the corporate market in New York City, Westchester County, and Northern New Jersey. The successful candidates will generate new business, develop client relationships, and close integrated print and digital advertising campaigns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prospect, develop, and close new business with corporations, advertising agencies, public institutions, hospitals, colleges, banks, nonprofits, law firms, auto dealers, and local businesses. Sell print and digital solutions, including newspaper ads, website banners, sponsored content, newsletters, social media campaigns, and multimedia packages.
Manage the full sales cycle:
prospecting, needs assessment, presentations, proposals, negotiation, closing, follow-up, and renewals. Build relationships with marketing executives, media buyers, agency professionals, and business owners. Maintain an active pipeline and accurate CRM records while meeting weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity and revenue goals. Attend client meetings and networking events throughout New York City, Westchester County, and New Jersey. Coordinate with editorial, digital, design, and administrative teams to ensure successful campaign delivery.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Full professional fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken. At least three years of proven print and digital advertising sales experience with a newspaper, magazine, digital publication, radio, television, or other media company. Experience selling to corporations, agencies, institutions, and organizations in the New York metropolitan market. An active business network in New York City, Westchester County, and/or New Jersey. A documented record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and generating new accounts. Strong consultative selling, presentation, negotiation, closing, organization, and follow-up skills. Working knowledge of CRM platforms, email, videoconferencing, and Microsoft Office tools. Availability for client meetings and business events within the assigned territory.

COMPENSATION & SUPPORT
Annual base salary: $40,000-$45,000. 8% commission on collected advertising sales. Uncapped commission on collected sales. Performance bonuses for meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly goals. Sales materials, media kits, rate cards, and internal campaign support. Opportunity to grow a territory, client portfolio, and earnings through commissions and performance incentives.
WORK ARRANGEMENT
This is a full-time, hybrid, field-based position based in White Plains, NY, with flexibility for remote work. Candidates may reside in New York City or Westchester County, provided they can reliably attend in-person client meetings, business events, and other work-related activities throughout New York City, Westchester County, and Northern New Jersey as required.
