POSITION SUMMARY

: The Marketing & Community Engagement Coordinator supports the YMCA's marketing, communications, and community outreach efforts. This role maintains digital platforms, promotes programs and events, assists with member communications and registration systems, and represents the YMCA at community events. Working closely with multiple departments, the Coordinator helps strengthen community engagement, support organizational goals, and ensure consistent YMCA branding. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing & Community Relations .

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Marketing & Communications

• Update website content and event information
• Manage digital signage
• Maintain Y mobile app content
• Create and schedule targeted email marketing campaigns
• Assist with social media content creation
• Assist with data collection and reporting for marketing initiatives
• Support other departments with marketing requests
• Help ensure brand standards are followed across all platforms Program & Member Support
• Set up and maintain program registration site
• Assist departments with registration setup and online content
• Maintain accurate online program information Community Engagement
• Represent the Y at health fairs and community events
• Assist with Lunch & Learn and other community event scheduling
• Assist with special events, open houses and promotional activities
• Build positive relationships with members and community partners

Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Strong attention to detail Comfortable learning new software and technology Occasional evening and weekend hours for special events Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds Reliable transportation for community events Flexibility to assist with organization-wide initiatives as needed Preferred Skills Website content management experience Email marketing experience Microsoft Office proficiency Graphic design experience (Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite)

Part-Time or Full-Time Schedule:

Flexible based on the qualifications and availability of the selected candidate. Occasional evening and/or weekend hours required.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
