Job Description

Beacon Legacy Group is looking for a creative, organized, and outgoing Marketing Coordinator & Content Creator to join our growing law firm in Cookeville. This is a hands-on marketing role for someone who loves creating content, working with people, and turning ideas into finished projects. You will help manage our digital presence, personally film and edit video content, coordinate and attend educational workshops and community events, create marketing materials, manage campaigns, and help build relationships throughout the community. This is not a position where you'll spend all day behind a desk or simply schedule social media posts. One day you may be filming and editing a Reel with an attorney; another may involve designing a workshop campaign, creating a newsletter, updating our website, preparing event materials, or attending a community event on behalf of the firm. We are open to either a full-time or part-time candidate and are more interested in finding the right person than fitting someone into a predetermined schedule. Part-time scheduling can be flexible around a college schedule. Current Tennessee Tech students, recent graduates, and candidates with hands-on marketing or content-creation experience are encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Video, Social Media & Content Creation A significant part of this position is hands-on video production. You should be comfortable getting behind the camera and personally turning footage into finished content. Serve as an in-house videographer and content creator for the firm Plan, film, and edit video featuring our attorneys, team, workshops, educational topics, community involvement, and firm activities Create short-form video for Instagram Reels, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms Create longer-form educational and promotional video content when needed Set up and use basic filming equipment, including cameras or phones, microphones, lighting, and tripods Edit video with captions, graphics, music, transitions, and firm branding Repurpose longer videos into multiple pieces of short-form content Create static social media posts and graphics Maintain the firm's social media and content calendar Photograph and capture video at workshops and community events Organize and maintain a library of firm photos and video Help develop creative concepts, scripts, shot lists, and new content ideas Stay current on social media and video trends and identify ideas that fit the Beacon brand Workshops & Events Educational workshops and community events are an important part of our marketing strategy. Help plan, promote, coordinate, and attend approximately three workshops or marketing events each month Reserve and coordinate workshop venues Create and publish workshop listings on the firm's website, Facebook, and other marketing channels Help promote workshops through social media, email, digital marketing, and other channels Maintain workshop registration lists and related data Prepare workshop materials, notebooks, signage, presentations, and supplies Purchase and organize event supplies as needed Help set up and run workshops Capture photos and video during events for future marketing content Assist with attendee confirmations and appropriate post-event marketing follow-up Identify opportunities to improve attendance and the overall workshop experience Some workshops and events occur outside normal business hours. Candidates must be available to attend approximately three events per month as needed. Digital Marketing & Communications Create and schedule email newsletters using Constant Contact Maintain email marketing and newsletter contact lists Write and publish monthly website/blog content Assist with WordPress website updates and management Manage and respond to Google reviews Help coordinate client review campaigns and follow-up Assist with digital advertising and online marketing campaigns Track and maintain Local Services Ads and other digital marketing data Coordinate with outside marketing vendors or agencies when needed Monitor marketing results and help identify what's working Community & Relationship Marketing Help build relationships with referral partners, professional organizations, community groups, and local businesses Identify potential speaking opportunities, sponsorships, partnerships, and community events Serve as a point of contact for organizations interested in having members of our firm speak Help coordinate continuing-education presentations and sponsorship relationships with financial professionals and other referral partners Represent Beacon Legacy Group professionally at community and marketing events Brand, Materials & Marketing Operations Create and maintain brochures, flyers, presentations, signage, business cards, promotional items, and other marketing materials Help maintain consistency of the Beacon Legacy Group brand across digital and physical materials Maintain marketing and event supplies and inventory Maintain the firm's marketing calendar Track key marketing metrics and maintain marketing performance data Help firm leadership evaluate campaigns, events, lead sources, and other marketing efforts Take ownership of marketing projects from idea through completion Who We're Looking For We care more about what you can create and how you work than a particular number of years on your résumé. You may be a great fit if you: Have hands-on experience with marketing, social media, communications, videography, content creation, or a related area Can personally film and edit polished video content Have a good creative eye for video, photography, design, and branding Are comfortable with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and short-form video Have experience with editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar software Can create attractive graphics and marketing materials Write clearly and professionally Are comfortable interacting with people and representing the firm at events Are organized and can manage multiple projects and deadlines Are dependable and willing to handle both the creative and logistical sides of marketing Take initiative and can move a project forward without needing constant direction Enjoy learning new technology, platforms, and marketing strategies Are comfortable measuring results and improving your work based on what performs Education & Experience A degree or coursework in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Videography, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred but not required. Current college students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Hands-on experience can substitute for formal professional marketing experience. Relevant experience may come from internships, employment, student organizations, freelance work, athletics, campus organizations, personal content creation, or other projects. Schedule Full-Time or Part-Time We are willing to structure the position around the right candidate. Part-time scheduling can be flexible around a college schedule. Full-time candidates would generally work during the firm's normal business hours. Regardless of full-time or part-time status, the position requires reasonable flexibility to attend approximately three workshops or marketing events per month, some of which may occur outside normal business hours. This is an in-person position in Cookeville, Tennessee. Compensation $17-$21 per hour, depending on experience and skills. Pay:
