25% of base Position Summary The Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading the Company Aircraft's strategic Account Management organization and driving profitable growth across OEM, aircraft conversion, airline, MRO, defense, and aftermarket customer segments. This role serves as a technical-commercial leader who builds strategic customer relationships, identifies growth opportunities, and aligns internal teams to successfully capture and execute business opportunities. The Vice President of Sales will engage with customer executives, engineering leaders, program management teams, procurement organizations, quality representatives, and operational stakeholders while ensuring customer needs are translated into actionable business strategies. The successful candidate combines aerospace technical knowledge, commercial leadership capability, and cross-functional influence to support sustainable revenue growth, strengthen customer partnerships, improve market position, and create long-term value for the Company. Key Responsibilities Strategic Growth Leadership Develop and execute strategic account growth plans aligned with Company's business objectives, market opportunities, and customer strategies. Identify, evaluate, and prioritize growth opportunities across OEM, conversion, airline, MRO, defense, and aftermarket markets. Lead account capture strategies for major aircraft platforms, retrofit programs, modifications, conversions, and aftermarket opportunities. Establish disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, opportunity tracking, and account review processes. Customer & Market Leadership Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers, including engineering, program management, procurement, quality, operations, and leadership stakeholders. Understand customer requirements, market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to support business growth. Represent Company as a trusted technical-commercial partner capable of addressing customer needs and business challenges. Cross-Functional Business Alignment Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management, Finance, Pricing, Contracts, and Operations to evaluate opportunities and ensure alignment. Drive effective collaboration to validate technical feasibility, manufacturing capability, schedule requirements, pricing strategy, profitability, certification considerations, and contractual expectations. Ensure customer commitments are aligned with approved technical, commercial, operational, and contractual requirements. Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and develop the Account Management organization, including Strategic Account Directors, Account Managers, and other customer-facing resources. Establish organizational discipline, accountability, and best practices that support scalable growth. Develop talent, strengthen leadership capability, and build a sustainable customer management organization. Success Measures Success in this role will be demonstrated through: Achievement of strategic bookings, revenue growth, and profitability objectives. Expansion of key customer relationships and strategic accounts. Improved pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, and opportunity conversion. Successful capture and execution of new business opportunities. Strong cross-functional alignment between Commercial, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and Program Management teams. Development of a high-performing Account Management organization capable of supporting future growth. Required Experience & Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aviation Management, Business Administration, or related discipline. MBA or advanced technical/business degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in aerospace, aviation, defense, engineered products, aircraft systems, or related technical industries. Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience managing account management, business development, strategic sales, capture management, or commercial teams. Demonstrated success driving growth, customer expansion, strategic account development, and complex business opportunities. Experience working directly with aerospace OEMs, conversion providers, airlines, MROs, defense customers, Tier 1 suppliers, or major aerospace integrators. Experience operating in regulated aerospace environments, including
FAA/EASA
certification requirements, PMA, STC, military airworthiness, export-controlled programs, or similar compliance environments.
