Automotive Sales Manager Cook Chevrolet - Craig, Colorado Cook Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales department with structure, accountability, and a customer-first mindset. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the full sales operation—from desking deals to inventory flow—and enjoys developing people as much as driving performance. Key Responsibilities Desk and structure deals to maximize profitability while ensuring a transparent, positive customer experience Work closely with sales consultants throughout the deal process to close sales efficiently and professionally Oversee lot management , including merchandising, vehicle placement, and frontline readiness Manage vehicle reconditioning process to ensure used inventory is retail-ready quickly and cost-effectively Coordinate and oversee detail operations to maintain high presentation standards Maintain strong inventory management , including stocking, aging control, and turn rate optimization Train, coach, and develop salespeople on product knowledge, sales process, and customer engagement Monitor sales performance, set goals, and hold the team accountable to daily and monthly objectives Collaborate with the Owner and other department leaders to improve overall dealership performance What We're Looking For 2+ Years Automotive Management Experience Strong desking, negotiation, and deal-structuring skills Excellent communication and coaching skills Inventory and reconditioning experience strongly preferred What We Offer Pay range from $90-110k per year based on experience and performance Stable, locally owned dealership with a strong reputation Supportive leadership and a team-focused culture Why Northwest Colorado?
