Our client is currently seeking a Business Development Manager - Functional Dairy Protein Ingredients (National Remote)We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth by promoting our portfolio of functional and nutritional protein systems across the food, beverage, and nutrition industries. This is a consultative, technical sales position that involves deep collaboration with customer R D, procurement, and innovation teams to solve formulation challenges and create tailored ingredient solutions that lead to long-term supply partnerships. Responsibilities Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities for functional and nutritional protein ingredients in the food, beverage, and nutrition sectors. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline from initial prospecting through to commercialization and ongoing account expansion. Qualifications 3+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in food/nutritional ingredients, with a focus on proteins or dairy-derived ingredients strongly preferred. Solid working knowledge of protein functionality, applications, and their use in food and beverage formulations. Proven track record of winning new business and growing accounts through a consultative, solutions-oriented sales approach. Willingness and ability to travel up to 40%. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred.
