Job Description
Super C Mart, Inc. is seeking an experienced, results-driven District Manager to provide leadership and operational oversight across our seven grocery store locations in Oklahoma. Super C Mart is an independent, family-owned grocery company that has served Oklahoma communities for 50 years. Our stores are an important part of the communities we serve, and we pride ourselves on providing fresh products, friendly service, clean stores, competitive value, and a hometown shopping experience. The District Manager will work closely with our executive team and Store Managers to improve store performance, strengthen operational standards, develop store leadership, and ensure company initiatives are executed consistently across all locations. This is a hands-on field leadership position . The ideal candidate is comfortable spending significant time inside stores, working directly with Store Managers and department teams, identifying opportunities, and following through to ensure expectations are met. Key Responsibilities Provide direct leadership, coaching, and accountability to Store Managers across seven locations Visit stores regularly to evaluate operations, customer service, merchandising, cleanliness, staffing, and overall execution Drive sales growth, customer traffic, profitability, and operational performance Review store financials, sales trends, labor, gross profit, shrink, and other key performance indicators Identify underperforming areas and develop clear, actionable improvement plans Ensure company programs, promotions, pricing initiatives, merchandising plans, and operational directives are executed consistently Partner with Store Managers to improve department performance, including Meat, Produce, Grocery, Deli, Bakery, and Front End Recruit, develop, coach, and retain strong store leadership Hold Store Managers accountable for expectations while providing the support and resources necessary for success Maintain high standards for store conditions, product availability, freshness, presentation, and customer service Identify operational challenges and communicate solutions and recommendations to executive leadership Help create consistency between locations while recognizing the individual needs of the communities each store serves Support new initiatives, special events, seasonal programs, and company-wide projects Promote a culture of urgency, ownership, teamwork, accountability, and exceptional customer service Qualifications Previous multi-unit retail management experience required Grocery retail experience strongly preferred Proven experience leading and developing Store Managers or other management-level employees Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, inventory, labor management, shrink, sales, and profitability Ability to analyze financial and operational reports and translate results into action Strong communication, organization, coaching, and problem-solving skills Ability to hold teams accountable while building positive working relationships Comfortable working independently and making sound operational decisions Must be willing and able to travel regularly between Super C Mart locations throughout Oklahoma Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Availability to respond to operational needs outside traditional office hours when necessary What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who leads from the floor, not from behind a desk .
