REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

Salary range $150, 000 to $165,000 The Regional ASU Operations Manager has\noverall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of all facilities\nused in the production of medical cryogenic liquids and industrial pipeline\ngases on a Regional basis These duties include quality control, personnel\nstaffing and training issues; safety, health and environmental regulatory\ncompliance; process optimization, equipment maintenance and supervision of\noperating and capital expenditures. The Regional Operations Manager reports to\nthe Zone Director Bulk Production. Essential Function\nAchievement of all safety, production, efficiency, quality and budgetary\ntargets for the Region\nSupervising the recruiting and hiring of Managers and technicians within the\nRegion\nSupport of local personnel during all planned and unplanned plant outages\nSupport Plant Managers with the implementation and execution of all Department\nInitiatives\nCoordination of all plant maintenance activities within the region\nCoordination of production scheduling with Product Management and Logistics\nDepartments\nSupport of the Sales Team\nQualify and supervise vendors and contractors\nAssist department head with data and budgetary preparations and presentations.\nFill in for a Plant Manager as may be required during his or her absence.\nWillingness to be \"on call \" 24/7 for plant needs of any kind, (personnel,\nequipment, customer problems)\nComplete knowledge of all MTG safety, compliance and quality policies.\nComplete knowledge of all MTG personnel policies as they relate to ASU's\nComplete knowledge of all in-region pipeline contracts and obligations\nPerforms other duties as assigned\nComplies with all policies and standards

QUALIFICATIONS

\nEducation and Experience\n

Bachelor's\nDegree in engineering or equivalent industry experience with a minimum of 5\nyears specific management experience in the production of medical and\nindustrial atmospheric gases.\n
Knowledge,\nSkills and Abilities\n
Experience\ninteracting with Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies (FDA, EPA, OSHA,\nDHS. Etc.)\n
Experience\nimplementing and maintaining quality systems including ISO 9001-2015 and FSSC\n22000\n
Experience\nimplementing and maintaining Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)\n
Understanding\nthe principles of Cryogenic Air Separation\n
Understanding\nthe mechanical principles of rotating equipment\n
Computer\nskills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft\nPowerPoint and Outlook.\n
Understanding\nof General Accounting Techniques\n
Advanced\nstatistical and analytical skills\n
Possession\nof a valid driver's license with clean driving record\n
Comfortable\nwith public speaking
