Sales Manager, Americas Full‑time | Permanent | Vermont Reporting to the Commercial Manager - Americas, the Sales Manager, Americas is responsible for driving sales and business development initiatives across the North American region to deliver sustainable revenue growth aligned with Hewitt Foods' strategic plan. This role focuses on developing new and existing customer partnerships across wholesale and branded ingredients channels while supporting strategic market development opportunities. Working closely with the wider Americas leadership team, you will balance short-term commercial success with long-term customer partnerships and sustainable growth. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with local and international regulations, food safety requirements, trade standards, and company policies while driving operational excellence and customer-focused outcomes across the region. About the Role We are seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused sales professional to grow Hewitt Foods' presence across the Americas region. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, and delivering sustainable revenue growth across wholesale and branded ingredient channels. Working closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, Marketing, and Quality Assurance teams, you will play a key role in shaping regional growth strategies, maximizing product value, and strengthening customer partnerships throughout North and South America. Key Responsibilities Drive sales growth by developing existing customer accounts and securing new business opportunities across imported and domestic raw material and branded ingredient channels. Achieve regional revenue, margin, and profitability targets through effective commercial planning and execution. Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers and suppliers across the Americas region. Identify new customer, channel, species program, and market opportunities that align with company growth objectives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are met while supporting operational excellence. Monitor market trends, pricing dynamics, regulatory requirements, and commercial risks to support informed business decisions. About You You are a commercially minded relationship builder who thrives on creating long-term customer partnerships and identifying growth opportunities. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you can influence outcomes and drive results. You bring strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach to working across multiple functions. You are comfortable navigating complex markets and are motivated by delivering value for customers while contributing to the success of the broader business. You Will Bring Commercial experience in senior sales, business development, procurement, or related commercial roles within North American markets. Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, developing customer relationships, and achieving commercial objectives. Experience in supply chain, commercial sales, and raw material procurement across North and South American markets. Strong understanding of customer channels, market dynamics, consumer preferences, and regional business practices. Knowledge of regulatory, trade, import/export, and food safety requirements across the Americas region. Bachelor's degree in business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Food Science, Agriculture, or a related discipline preferred. Work Environment This role operates in a dynamic commercial environment requiring frequent customer engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and regional market development activities. Travel throughout North and South America may be required to support customers, suppliers, industry events, and strategic business initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with teams across Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to deliver customer-focused outcomes and support continued business growth. Location & Work Arrangement This position is based on-site in Shelburne, Vermont (05482 ).
