Responsibilities Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions with precision and efficiency Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly and assisting with product inquiries or demos Manage cash handling duties, including cash drawer balancing and processing various payment methods Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities Stock shelves, coolers and merchandise displays to ensure the store remains organized, inviting, and well-stocked Maintain professional phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries Support product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits of merchandise Assist in merchandising efforts to ensure attractive product presentation aligned with store standards Requirements Previous experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are advantageous Knowledge of retail store product lines and merchandising techniques Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing cash drawers Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to perform retail math calculations quickly and accurately during transactions Familiarity with retail sales processes, stocking procedures.

Pay:

$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 17.0 per week Shift availability: Night Shift (Preferred) Day Shift (Preferred)
