Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders at the front counter Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change efficiently Support food preparation activities and food handling procedures to maintain quality standards Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and customer satisfaction Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and kitchen hygiene standards Manage food service customer order management, ensuring timely delivery of orders to customers Operate kitchen equipment safely when assisting with food prep or service needs Ensure proper food safety management practices are followed at all times Assist in operating quick service or fast-food restaurant equipment as needed Skills Proven experience in food service, quick service, or fast-food environments with a focus on cashiering and customer service Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Excellent time management skills to handle multiple transactions efficiently during busy periods Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Experience with food preparation, food safety standards, sanitation practices, and kitchen equipment operation Effective communication skills to engage with customers and team members positively Retail sales transaction experience including grocery store or café settings is a plus Join us in creating memorable customer experiences through energetic service and culinary excellence!
