Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, returns, and exchanges. Provide friendly and professional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales. Handle cash register operations with precision, including cash drawer handling and balancing registers at shift end. Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining organized product placement to enhance store presentation. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone. Support inventory management by participating in stock replenishment and inventory counts as needed. Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations for efficient transaction processing. Strong communication skills to engage customers effectively and provide clear information about products. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs more effectively. Previous retail sales experience, especially in grocery or similar stores, is highly desirable. Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail environment are advantageous.
