Job Overview The Lincoln Cafe is looking for someone to join our team as a Cashier/Delivery Driver, where you'll be the friendly face our customers see and the reliable driver who ensures their orders arrive promptly and safely. This energetic role combines retail cashier responsibilities with delivery duties, offering a fast-paced environment that keeps you engaged and motivated. You'll handle retail sales transactions, provide exceptional customer service, and deliver products with enthusiasm, all while maintaining a positive shopping experience for our valued customers. Please email resumes to cs@thelincolncafe.com Duties Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Handle cash handling duties with precision, including cash drawer management and basic math calculations Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demos, and upsell items to enhance sales opportunities Stock shelves, merchandise products, and ensure retail store product knowledge is up-to-date for effective customer assistance Deliver orders promptly to customers' locations while maintaining excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Ensure proper documentation of retail sales transactions and maintain a clean, organized checkout area Conduct retail store product knowledge sharing and merchandising to promote sales growth Experience Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is highly preferred Supervising experience in a retail or customer service setting is a plus Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math is essential Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases Demonstrated ability to handle cash drawer handling accurately and perform retail math confidently Strong communication skills with a focus on excellent phone etiquette and customer service excellence Experience in product demos, upselling techniques, and stock management will set you apart Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering outstanding service while ensuring every customer's experience is positive and memorable.
