Responsibilities Greet guests with a warm, welcoming attitude and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit Manage restaurant reservations and seating arrangements using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process orders, payments, and refunds swiftly and securely Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing information about menu items, reservations, or wait times Maintain organized cash registers and ensure accurate cash handling and transaction records Support host/hostess duties by managing guest relations, seating guests efficiently, and coordinating with kitchen staff for timely service Uphold food safety standards and ensure cleanliness of the cashier station and surrounding areas at all times Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, including cashiering or host/hostess positions Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests over the phone and in person Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Knowledge of POS systems and experience with restaurant technology platforms preferred Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours Commitment to food safety standards and guest relations excellence This energetic role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
