JOB SUMMARY

\nTo assume sole custody and responsibility of the Main Vault and Safe.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Safeguards Main Bank assets and safekeeping funds.\nAdheres to all company money handling policies and procedures.\nHandles all cash transactions between department staff.\nMaintains key control as custodian of sensitive keys through use of the Electronic Key Box (EKB).\nVerifies video poker drop funds accepted into Main Bank accountability and verifies all drop paperwork.\nVerifies HRM drop funds accepted into Main Bank accountability and verifies all drop paperwork.\nEmpties SST machines, verifies the funds and complete drop paperwork.\nCompletes fill and draw transactions when cashiers need additional monies.\nPrepares revenue reports and video poker deposit during drops and verifies mutuel deposits daily. Also prepares HRM paperwork from the drop.\nControls custody and issuances of various departmental impressed banks, if any (i.e. food, beverage, mutuel, admissions).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

\nMust be 21 years or older. Must have the ability to obtain a Racing License, Video Poker Permit and ABO Card.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

\n: High school degree or GED required. Three (3) years' experience in cash operations or banking operations; experience preferred. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several variables. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documentation.
