Pharmacy Cashier:

Galleria Medical Pharmacy is seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Cashier. As a Pharmacy Cashier, you will play a crucial role in a fast paced environment providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at our pharmacy counter.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service:

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Assist customers with prescription drop-offs and pick-ups. Answer customer inquiries and provide information on basic pharmacy service.

Cash Handling:

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods. Provide correct change and receipts to customers.

Prescription Processing:

Assist in the collection of prescription information from customers. Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure accurate processing of prescription orders.

Maintaining Cleanliness:

Keep the pharmacy counter and cashier area clean and organized. Ensure the security of the cash register and follow cash-handling procedures.

Product Knowledge:

Stay informed about the products we provide.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent. Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred. Basic understanding of pharmacy operations is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
