Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their visit Operate POS systems retail sales transactions and food orders Process cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately while handling cash register operations Assist with food preparation, including basic food handling and operating kitchen equipment to ensure quality standards are met Manage customer orders efficiently, upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene standards Support food safety management practices by following proper procedures for bussing, sanitation, and food handling Ensure the timely processing of customer orders and accurate recordkeeping of transactions Restock supplies as needed and assist in maintaining an organized retail and kitchen area Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless customer experience in both food service and retail transactions Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food industry knowledge Proficiency with POS systems for sales and order management Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively Strong cash handling skills along with basic math abilities for accurate transaction processing Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods Retail math skills for managing sales transactions and inventory checks Previous experience in grocery store or café environments is a plus but not required Join us as a vital part of our team where your energy, dedication, and enthusiasm will help us serve our community while growing your career in the vibrant world of food service and retail!
