Job Description
The Country Cajun Restaurant Overview Join our dynamic team as a FOH (Front of House) Team member, and Social Media assistant! In this vibrant role, you will be the friendly face greeting guests, managing orders, processing transactions with precision, and engaging with our community through social media platforms. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will ensure a seamless dining experience while promoting our brand online. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to blend exceptional guest service with creative social media engagement, all within a lively hospitality environment. Duties Amazing Customer Service Maintain clear and professional phone communication, including answering inquiries, taking orders, and happily providing information about the menu. Help manage social media accounts by creating engaging content, responding to comments and messages promptly, and promoting special events or menu items to enhance our online presence. Ensure food safety standards are upheld during transactions and guest interactions, adhering to hospitality best practices. Support overall restaurant operations by assisting with organizational tasks such as setting up tables, cleaning work areas, and coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Must have previous experience in food service or hospitality roles is especially in restaurant front-of-house positions such as host/hostess or cashier roles. Familiarity with Square POS is valuable Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone. Experience managing social media accounts for a business or brand is desirable; creativity and an eye for engaging content are essential. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing registers at shift end. Knowledge of food safety standards and guest relations principles to create a welcoming environment for all visitors. Organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting; previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous but not required.
