Our sprawling retail business includes a busy gourmet deli and catering services, a full liquor section and a growing gift basket e-commerce division. Our environment is fast-paced, team-oriented and customer-focused. We pride ourselves on exceptional quality and customer service and are seeking team members who want to contribute to our mission. Our ideal candidates are passionate foodies, communicative, organized and detail-oriented, self-starters and team-players. If Pemberton Farms sounds like the place for you, we're interested in talking to you! Applicants must be at least 18 years old (by state law to handle liquor). Our store hours are 7am to 9pm Sunday through Thursday, and 7am to 10pm on Friday and Saturday. Opening shifts begin at 6am, and closers can expect to stay approximately 30 minutes after the store closing. We are currently looking for full-time or part-time staff member to fill 3-5 night shifts a week, from 2-4pm until closing at 9:30pm (Sunday-Thursday) or 10:30pm (Friday/Saturday) Position Responsibilities Accurately operate the cash register and process cash, credit/debit, EBT, gift card, and other forms of payment while maintaining balanced cash drawers. Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting every customer, answering questions, resolving concerns professionally, and creating a welcoming shopping experience. Verify customer identification for the purchase of alcoholic beverages in accordance with Massachusetts state law and company policies. Refuse sales when required and seek management assistance when appropriate. Maintain a thorough knowledge of store departments, products, promotions, store policies, and operating hours to assist customers effectively. Answer and direct incoming phone calls courteously and professionally. Complete opening, closing, and daily front-end task lists accurately and on schedule, ensuring all assigned responsibilities are completed before the end of each shift. Restock cashier stations with bags, receipt paper, utensils, cleaning supplies, promotional materials, and other necessary front-end supplies. Assist with stocking, merchandising, facing shelves, rotating products, and maintaining attractive product displays throughout the store as directed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout area, including sanitizing registers, shopping carts, baskets, and other high-touch surfaces. Follow all company policies regarding cash handling, loss prevention, age-restricted sales, food safety, and workplace safety. Maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment. Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other departments and performing additional duties as assigned to support overall store operations. Safely lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds and remain standing, walking, and moving throughout shifts of up to eight hours. Position Detail Job Types Part-time;
