Duties Prepare a variety of food items according to established recipes and safety standards, maintaining quality and presentation. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and manage cash handling with precision. Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance the guest experience. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food prep areas, counters, and kitchen equipment, adhering to sanitation standards. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, grills, ovens, and food prep tools. Ensure food safety management practices are followed at all times, including proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures. Requirements Proven experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments with a strong focus on food prep and cashiering. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; previous cashiering experience is essential. Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking between food prep and cashier duties. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations. Culinary experience or café/retail store experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace in compliance with health regulations.
