Overview The Highlands at Harbor Springs is seeking dependable and customer-focused Cashiers to join our Food & Beverage team at North Peak. Located at the top of the Interconnect lift, North Peak requires employees to travel to and from the worksite by snowmobile. This is a seasonal position with full-time and part-time opportunities. The North Peak Cashier is responsible for providing excellent guest service, processing food and beverage transactions accurately, answering guest questions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

Inform guests of daily specials, menu changes, and available food and beverage options. Answer questions regarding menu items, beverages, and restaurant services. Process guest transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Handle credit card payments and room charges in accordance with established procedures. Verify guest identification when required for alcohol sales. Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests. Address guest complaints and concerns professionally and refer them to the appropriate personnel when necessary. Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned. Ensure all equipment is cleaned, properly stored, and secured at the end of each shift. Secondary Responsibilities (20-40% of time) Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary service areas throughout the shift. Assist with general food and beverage operations as needed. Record and account for items sold, discarded, or remaining in accordance with established procedures. Support team members and assist with additional tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. Additional Duties Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and resort operations. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Must have ServSafe certification or be able to obtain it after hire. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and accurately process transactions. Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Must be comfortable riding a snowmobile to access the worksite. Previous cashier or food and beverage experience preferred but not required.
